Designing and Marketing a Global E-comm Cart
Whym Wallet is an emerging FinTech start-up, backed by Apple, Stripe, Venmo, Snap, Facebook and Google. The project was exciting and the team was best in-class. I was trusted to carry out all design operations. From designing the website, establishing instagram marketing plans, to idealistic and creating new features, I was able to be apart of every part of it. Creating a brand from scratch that appealed to Gen-Z and Millennial shoppers while also gain trust from business owner was a challenge. With that divide also birthed targeted approaches for sellers and shoppers, resulting in separate websites, landing pages, products and ads.
Playful Branding Paired with Well-Thought Out Product
My goal was to balance trendy branding with the restraint of financial branding. to create a brand that can stay revelenvant and uniquely "whym". Along with brand positioning, I focused on creating seamless software that helped get shoppers from point a to point b faster and more concisely than traditional e-comm checkout.
A Strong Digital Presence and Product
Whym is now integrated on hundreds of e-comm sites along with available to shoppers through the Apple App Store and through Safari Browser Extensions and the Google Chrome Store. The branding has withstood many pivots along with countless additions as the team grows from 5 people to 50+
